Time For Change
We recently transformed the kitchen in this Hertfordshire home to create a large living, dining and entertaining space. The owners, keen to stay and improve rather than move were looking for functionality combined with a social space.
The contemporary combination of white glass and basalt stone ceramic effect cabinets; a smoked mirror splashback and two worktop finishes are a contrast to their previous classic maple kitchen (also designed by Neil Lerner.)
With special features like the touch sensitive climber cupboards, Zip boiling water tap and teppanyaki hob – the owners say “The thing we wanted most, as well as a new look was a really sociable room to entertain in – and we’ve got it”.
