Spring Clean!
Whilst we’re waiting for the warm air and gentle breeze of Spring to arrive it’s a good time to get the kitchen in order.
A great place to start in the kitchen is with cupboards and drawers – take out anything that isn’t being used on a regular basis and find an easy accessible storage place for such items.
- A large pull out drawer is a great, practical solution for storing bulkier items such as bottle crates and boxes.
- A great way to store a bin in the kitchen is with a pull out waste drawer – when not in use it can be discreetly hidden away resulting in a more hygienic environment.
- These days when most of us don’t have a proper larder, keeping dry stores accessible and in good condition is an eternal kitchen challenge. A pull out larder with deep, steel drawers is a great way to keep everything visible, organised and ready to hand – furthermore the life of cooking ingredients is prolonged by keeping them in the dark when the cupboard is shut.
- Combining ergonomic elements and clever design is a great way to maximise space. Choose a high cabinet as a designated cleaning cupboard – it will provide plenty of storage to accommodate the more homely basics such as hoovers and ironing boards – or opt for a foldaway ironing board cupboard – just pull it out when you need it and slide it back in the drawer when you’re done.
By the time your Spring clean is over the sun will have hopefully made an appearance and you can sit back and enjoy the best of the great British weather!
