Keep your glossy units gleaming
So, you’ve got a lovely, new glossy kitchen, but how should you look after it? You’ll be pleased to know that high-gloss cabinetry is easy to maintain and generally just needs a wipe over with a soft cloth and warm water containing a little washing-up liquid. Solvent-based cleaners, abrasive cleaning agents, micro-fibre cloths and steam cleaners must not be used as they can damage the finish.
When the kitchen is first installed the doors will have had a special polish applied which protects the gloss doors. Once applied this does not need to be repeated. If you find after a while that the cupboards are damaged or scratched, you can easily repair them with a touch up paint which we provide with the kitchen but you will not be able re-apply the gloss finish, however if the door has a really bad scratch then the door will need to be replaced.
