Are you wondering what trends will be cool for kitchens in 2012. Here’s what we think here at Neil Lerner:
‘There is a distinct change in the way kitchens will look in 2012. The overall interiors trend favouring darker colours have filtered through to the most-used room of the house, creating a very chic, urbane feel. Moody greys, blues, browns and almost-blacks set the tone while glass fronts in bronze, blue, black, white and moss add a glamorous touch. Mixing different materials and textures is a big trend – sleek steel with light Acacia wood in a rough-cut finish; textured Platinum Oak with black slate; Basalt stone with a rough surface feel combined with horizontally grained Ebony. Colour is almost absent, apart from the odd splash of sunshine yellow or lilac.’
