This funky, bright and spacious kitchen was created for two interior designers looking for something different. A very sociable couple, with a great interest in cooking, they wanted to open up two rooms to create one open plan kitchen and entertaining area. The kitchen furniture is in teak with worktops in Silestone - a sparkly variation that catches the light in a way that is both understated and attractive. Lightbox shelves provide extra luminance, highlighting the couple's collection of chic, practical kitchen utensils, which are smartly displayed, rather than hidden away. Along one wall, Neil has created a spectacular feature, installing a splashback of coloured glass with LED lighting that changes tone from green to blue to pink, orange, yellow and purple!
