Showcase
This kitchen had to form ‘part of the architecture' of a newly extended open plan space. It has four distinct zones; Storage and appliances built against the side wall: a central island unit including a powerful stove, a large L-shaped island built up against a low level partition which ‘divides' the cooking area from a seating area behind without breaking up the flow of space and, lastly, a table and chairs for family eating/informal socialising.
