This kitchen was a collaboration between Neil Lerner and the kitchen's owner, a well known interior designer. Having knocked down walls to create a big new space in her period house, she asked Neil to create a kitchen which she described as "not entirely modern." The result combines strikingly modern kitchen furniture with traditional materials, pale Diamond Oak and rich dark Walnut. The elegant flush fronted cupboards hide away kitchen clutter and the large island unit forms the working heart of the room. A pale stone floor with warm colour variations and a feature wall of pink and black terracotta tiles complete the marriage of modern and traditional.
