Showcase
The cabinets combine white high gloss lacquer with the strong colour and textural contrast of the 'Tabac' oak. Cleverly, the white porcelain floor has large square tiles which reflect the shapes of the cabinet doors and effect is highlighted by plinth level lighting around the island unit. Amongst the many built-in kitchen conveniences are two sinks (one large and one small, for prepping) as well as purpose-designed storage and separate integrated fridges for food and wine chilling. Neil Lerner also designed a new 'cracked ice' tabletop to sit on the existing table legs which the client already had.
