The brief from the client was for a contemporary look with a slightly Japanese aesthetic and as much 'out of sight' storage as possible. The new kitchen also had to be designed and built around an existing Aga. This is a design which keeps everything light, airy and simple. Stacked glass cupboards convey the look of shoji paper screens and reflect natural light. Antique white gloss units underline the purity of the lines and contrast beautifully with the oak island unit, which 'floats' over a brushed steel plinth.
