Showcase
The eating and kitchen area of this 1930's house looks out onto a beautifully designed garden with decking - the doors fold back completely, almost bringing the two spaces into one. With so much natural light, Neil chose a combination of white Kashmir granite on the worktop and softer caramel gloss tones for the units. To create a welcoming feel he installed a large two-sided v-shaped island that brings people together, rather than segregate the kitchen into different areas, with one straight single unit. The island has an ergonomic linear design, which matches the shape of the kitchen windows. This area incorporates space for casual eating and the colour scheme and finish, in ‘Fino Umbra', is an attractive contrast to the lighter coloured surrounding units.
