This is the belief of Neil Lerner, one of the UK’s foremost bespoke kitchen designers and a man for whom beautiful kitchens and homes are a passion.
Designing kitchens for over 25 years has, he says, given him a unique insight to how people view their home, how they use it and to understand what people want when they choose a new kitchen.
Neil Lerner is that rare commodity in the kitchen world – a real designer. He graduated from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design in London and started his career designing for Siematic. By 1980 he had opened his own showroom selling Bulthaup and Xey, opening a second branch in 1985. Having sold this highly successful business, he joined Bulthaup in 1989, where he became UK Sales Director, thus adding another dimension to his experience and the complete spectrum of bespoke kitchens.
Neil Lerner Kitchen Design was established in 1993. Since then, Neil’s natural instinct for trend and his keen interest in the development and use of new materials has kept him at the forefront of kitchen design.
In 2007 he launched a new collection of home furniture, taking his experience, flair and style from the kitchen into the rest of the home for bathrooms, sitting rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms. In keeping with the developments in the way we live and work today, Neil now creates bespoke specialist installations for desks and home-office spaces.
